GDI Gasoline Direct Injection

If your engine is a Direct Injection engine (GDI), chances are that your inlet ports are clogged up with carbon.

GDI (Direct Injection) engines demonstrate greater fuel efficiency, higher power output and lower emission. However, due to the injectors injection fuel directly into the cylinders, excessive carbon build-up on the inlet ports can generate issues such as higher fuel consumption, longer cold starts, loss of power and rough idle just to name a few.
